Program Overview
Tapped In is a private network for Black male founders executing at a high level. The Residency is how we identify and train the next generation of operators to work at that same pace.
We select residents for a 90-day sprint to work directly with leadership and staff on building the brand. The standard here is high because the members we serve are high-performing. This role requires autonomy and the ability to execute without constant supervision.
Residents gain unrestricted access to our strategy, direct mentorship from the Founder, and a verified case study for their portfolio. We are looking for results, not potential.

Social Media Manager
Strategy, Publishing & Growth Lead
Role Overview
You own the distribution engine. While the Editor writes and the Producer films, you determine how, when, and where Tapped In shows up. You are responsible for the health and growth of the platform.
Responsibilities
- Platform Strategy: Determine the optimal cadence and formats for LinkedIn and Instagram to maximize reach.
- Publishing & Scheduling: Manage the queue (Buffer/Typefully). Ensure every post goes live on time with correct formatting.
- Analytics: Review performance data weekly. Tell us what is working, what isn't, and how we should pivot.
- Engagement: Manage the "first hour" of a post. Spark conversations in the comments and interact with target accounts to increase visibility.
Ideal Candidate
- •Aspiring Digital Marketer or Growth Strategist.
- •Understanding of social algorithms and engagement tactics.
- •Highly organized with an ability to interpret data into action.
Content Editor
Copywriter & Narrative Lead
Role Overview
You own the written text. You are the bridge between the Founder's thoughts and the public feed. You take raw, unstructured ideas and refine them into sharp, high-value copy.
Responsibilities
- Translation: Listen to founder audio notes and convert them into clean, compelling social copy or newsletters.
- Tone Governance: Ensure every sentence meets the "Prestige through Belonging" standard. No fluff, no corporate jargon.
- Editorial Polish: Review all text for clarity, grammar, and punchiness before it goes to the Manager for scheduling.
Ideal Candidate
- •Aspiring Editor, Journalist, or Copywriter.
- •Strong portfolio showing the ability to capture a specific voice.
- •Obsessive attention to detail.
Visual Producer
Photo/Video Capture & Editing
Role Overview
You own the visual execution. You are responsible for documenting the reality of the community. You capture the footage and perform the basic edits needed to create usable assets.
Responsibilities
- Capture: Attend private events to shoot high-quality video and photos.
- Post-Production: Deliver 1 polished recap or trailer within 72 hours, plus 2-3 quick vibe snippets on a flexible timeline.
- Asset Management: Organize files in the central library for the Social Media Manager to access.
Ideal Candidate
- •Videographer or Content Creator with a documentary style.
- •Owns camera/audio gear.
- •Capable of fast-turnaround editing (Premiere/CapCut).
