Tapped In started from a simple truth: most Black male entrepreneurs build in isolation.
We don't struggle with competence. We know how to execute. We know how to build.
But we often do it while battling invisibility in spaces where our excellence is underestimated.
We fight the frustration of being twice as prepared yet half as funded. We navigate hushed skepticism even when our wins are loud.
We carry the weight of representation, knowing that every pitch is judged not just on merit, but as a referendum on whether Black founders can deliver.
We're expected to scale without the benefit of first-degree Stanford connections, generational capital, or VCs who look like us and funded companies like ours.
And yet, we still build. We still scale. We still move.
And that's when Tapped In was born.
